And the Winning Streak Begins!
The Bulls put together another solid game in a 3-2 victory over Balls Deep. Both teams played well in a pitching duel. Smart base running by the Bulls early in the game paid off. The 1-2 brother combo of Travis and Gabe Lopez shined on the mound striking out 12 batters in 8 innings allowing only 1 earned and 1 unearned run. The defense did make a couple errors but they came through when it counted with a clutch double play to stop a possible scoring chance for the opposing team in the middle innings. Balls Deep threatened to come back in the 7th inning but Travis Lopez battled through it to get a strikeout for the last out with the bases loaded. Gabe Lopez then came in to shut the door with a 6 pitch 8th inning to end the game and earn a save.

This is the 2nd win of the season for the Bulls as the team is really starting to come together. With 4 straight well played games and 2 straight wins, is this the start of a winning streak?
